Camera traps are a non-invasive tool that allow researchers to collect data on many topics including wildlife occurrence, abundance, population dynamics and activity patterns. For our work we are particularly interested in estimating prey abundance and diversity that are available to predators in our study area as well as estimating predator and mesopredator relative abundance. Because predator behaviour is highly influenced by their prey, these data will help us understand predator movement patterns in addition to  their diet in the park and farmlands.
